WANG AQUATIC CHEMISTRY LAB
Our Principal Research Areas are on the: (I) Fate and Transport of Particles; and (II) Remediation of Contaminants in Aquatic Environments

Specific Research Areas Include:
  1. Nanotechnology for sustainable agriculture and aquaculture (e.g., nanopesticides, nanofertilizers, and nanosensors)
  2. Innovative technology for aquatic environment remediation (e.g., PFAS sorption and degradation)
  3. Fate and transport and cotransport of colloids, nanomaterials, and emerging contaminants (PFAS and plastics) in porous media
  4. Identifying sources, biogeochemical cycling, and bioavailability of phosphorus (P) in watershed using stable isotope techniques (e.g., phosphate oxygen isotope technique)
